In the event of an allegation being made against a member of staff, Diana Thompson and the Deputy would lead an enquiry and log evidence. Should an allegation be of abuse or neglect, OFSTED would be informed immediately.

Any member of staff who is suspected of abusing or neglecting a child would be suspended until enquiries were completed.

At all times in the event of an allegation, evidence would be sought to clarify the truth of the matter.

Efforts would always be made by the internal investigating officer to protect staff from false allegations
